01 — Who we are
The website mikkoun.com and the apps we publish are run by Gilden OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 17244309).
Gilden OÜ is the data controller for everything described in this policy: we decide why and how your data is used, and we are responsible for keeping it safe. Questions about your data or this policy go to info@mikkoun.com.
02 — This website
The site has no user accounts. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the email thread to respond to you.
03 — Our apps
When you create an account in one of our apps, we store what that app needs to work for you: usually your email address and display name, the identifier your sign-in provider shares with us if you sign in with a third-party account, and the content you create in the app, such as posts, photos and videos.
Each app keeps its data in its own systems, separate from our other apps. If you buy something, we keep a record of the purchase; your card details are handled by the app store or payment processor and never reach us. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
04 — Why we process it
To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to fix bugs and improve our apps (legitimate interest), to keep purchase records (legal obligation) and, where required, with your consent (for example access to your camera or photo library).
05 — Where it goes
We use trusted service providers to run the website and our apps. They process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Hostingruns the website and the servers behind our apps
- Data storagekeeps your account and the content you create, including uploaded files
- Sign-inverifies your email address, or the Apple or Google account you choose to sign in with
- Paymentsthe app store or payment processor that handles a purchase and your card details
- Emailour mailbox, and the delivery of messages you ask to receive
We keep data in the EU wherever we can. When a provider processes data outside the EU, the transfer relies on standard contractual clauses. Ask us at info@mikkoun.com for the current list of providers.
06 — How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. Delete your account in the app, or email info@mikkoun.com, and we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
07 — Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data, and object to or restrict processing, by emailing info@mikkoun.com. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
08 — Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
09 — Changes
We'll update this page and change the date above when the policy changes.
